: Like Jer said, just because you didn't get a reply doesn't necessarily mean you got rejected. But you might have. That is the problem. Some agent sites say if they don't like your novel they won't reply. But how do you know if they even read it?
You don't. What is the deal with these agents? Can't they at least send back some kind of standard reply saying they don't have time to read your query right now? There are automatic email programs that do that. It could say how long before they'll reply.
