Hasn't everybody? Fifty-some million plus copies sold. It has been translated into just about every language on earth. It's about this young shepherd in ancient times who goes here and there on a quest to find treasure and gets involved in one adventure after another (many of them involving magic). The book features a simple hero who somehow keeps on falling into amazing situations, with plenty of danger and excitement, but he always comes out unscathed and ready for the next adventure. Adventure and magic. What more could a book reader want these days? (In case you didn't notice, that was supposed to be sarcastic.)
