Good points. I agree with most of what you say about Obama and his bailouts and his trying to move us toward socialism, but I don't think Medicare is socialism. Or even if it is, as a 68 year old heart patient I don't know what I'd do without my Medicare. I worked for the same company for 32 years but they had no retirement or health program. What am I supposed to do, just die?

: None of you knows what you are talking about. Bush wasn't our guy. He was a good man, but he was diluded by Geitner and the other east coast intellectuals like him. The Tea Party is a group of right thinking individualists. We are not only against big government and the endless bailouts Obama is putting in place (including his socialized medicine he is forcing down our throats, and that includes the biggest socialist plot of them all, Medicare), we are for the rights of the individual and clear thinking. We say America is the land of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness as was laid down by our God-inspired constitution. That means we are all responsible for ourselves. We don't need handouts We are for free-enterprise and capitalism. Some people choose to be irresponsible and that is what leads to poverty and slums. It is not the government's job to bail them out. If they are poor, get a job. There are plenty out there to be had.

: : Bush was their guy. He did everything right because he was their guy. He was a dodo, just like them.

: : PS They hate everybody except "their group."

: : : I'm confused. The tea party came about because of the economic disaster that was created by Wall Street and the big bankers. But they seem to be mad at Obama and the Democrats. Why aren't they mad at Bush and the Republicans who created it? That's who was (and still is) in bed with Wall Street and the banks, not Obama.
