: : The two presidential candidates, Republican and Democratic, have been determined for a long time. And yet, some people are refusing to accept that reality and trying to pretend that Bernie Sanders still has a chance to be the Democratic party nominee. Are they against Hilary just because she is a woman?

: Some of the Sanders voters may not have wanted a woman to be president. Others may just like a rebel like Sanders (after all, until recently, he was an independent). Still, the Sanders voters must have realized, at some level, that they were trying to keep a woman from even being a candidate. It was the only chance for a woman to be the nominee, probably for a long time. Maybe there was something psychological going on, a built-in bias against putting a woman in a position of such authority. I'm sure the Sanders voters would deny it, but it had to be there.

I agree. I've never seen women speak so disparagingly against a fellow woman. Something strange is going on there. Maybe they don't want to be led by another woman. Maybe they trust men more as their leader. Can you imagine a woman walking into the voting booth to choose between Hilary and Trump, and deciding to vote for Trump? Hard to imagine.
