Dimensions (1)

by
Susan Dale

Pressed on all sides
with memories
Behind yesterday
and following it
To replay the moments
falling into rhyme
Mingling among the hours
of metallic moments
We fall through time
Its transparent curtains opening
on our lost beginnings
Backwards into dreamscapes
too bright to look into
And in the dead spaces
Of a long night
I looked back
But you'd gone back to you
