Looks like the Santa Barbara Writers Conference is this weekend (something like the 34th annual). It goes through all next week. 800 bucks (yikes) to get in (not including food or lodging) but you can go to some of the individual sessions for 10 to 15 bucks. Anybody going?

Looks like they mostly have west coast agents for the 15 minute pitches. That's different. Anybody tried that?
