Yes, you are right, Obama is ahead in the polls, but it is very close. I read this book too and one of the points it made was in a close election anything can happen in the Electoral College. The electors don't even have to vote for the candidate that wins their state. I think it is a very good book. A book every voter should read. By the way, the author has a Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/EverettEMurdockPhd. It discusses the day to day developments and poll results.
: The polls are showing Obama is ahead.
: : I just finished reading a great book about the upcoming Presidential election and I'm trying to get all my friends to read it. It's called Obama Will Win, but Romney Will Be President - How the Republicans Will Target Electoral College votes to Steal the 2012 Presidential Election by Everett Murdock PhD.
: : I downloaded the book to my computer from Amazon.com for only 99 cents. It's a history of ALL the presidential elections and all the crazy events that were going on back then that changed who got elected President. Lots of amazing stuff about U.S. history that I didn't know.
: : The book's last chapter makes state by state predictions about what's going to happen in the Presidential election this time. If any of you get it, look at the author's state by state predictions and do a post about whether you agree or not. Based on his analysis, it looks like Romney will squeak out a win in the electoral college even if he doesn't win the popular vote.
: : And I'd like to know what you all think of the electoral college. Why don't we get to vote for the President?
