: Dear friends,
: I'm from Italy and would like to receive suggestions on how to start trailrunning.I am talking about training programs. Thanks

The best thing about taking up trail running is that all it takes is a trail and a good pair of shoes (not necessarily trail shoes, just something you feel good in that are not too "tippy." Some lower-cost support or cushion running shoes are just right, depending on your foot type (avoid the high-tech road racing shoes). At first, you have to be a little careful about footing; it takes some time to get used to "feeling" the trail with your feet and some time to get your ankles used to the extra flexing.
