My wife is having a similiar problem and she asked me to do an internet search for her. She gets an intense itching that starts at her feet and works it's way up. We did run into an old friend that had the same symptoms who advised her to get her liver functions checked as that's what caused her itching. An internet search shows that there is definitely a correlation between itching and liver problems. I also found that there are some exercise related allergic reaction. I'll try to post the link
